Course Projects

BSM participants work in groups on the research projects.

Minor Projects include group presentations which analyse:
•  socio-cultural settings and political/economic conditions
•  successful business models
•  aspects of entrepreneurship & entrepreneurial opportunities

The objective is to create an awareness of the unique identity of a country's economy, to introduce students to a variety of tools and resources for obtaining information on current political, economic, and business environments; to inculcate in students the ability and desire to incorporate humanistic, social science, and cultural perspectives into business analyses; and, significantly, to impress on the participants the wealth of business and employment opportunities in countries visited.

Major Projects focus on the internationalisation of Singapore-based companies into a region, and groups choose their preferred themes from several categories. Teams analyse the implications of contextual knowledge to the actual practice of business in the case-study economy (economies, for comparative studies).
