Add-on Privileges*
SMUAA members who wish to enjoy additional campus facilities are welcome to sign up for additional benefits. The following facilities and services are available at an affordable annual fee. Members have to first sign-up for the SMUAA membership to enjoy add-on privileges. Application for add-on privileges only is not permitted.

You may choose any of the following:

Access to and use of Gymnasium and Swimming Pool (annual fee of $200)
SMU Gymnasium
The gym is located along the concourse under the School of Economics. Opened in Dec 2005, it is by far the biggest and has the most state-of-the-art equipment amongst Singapore institutions. Apart from 33 cardio machines, it also has close to 20 stack-weight machines which guarantee a full body workout, as well as a wide variety of free weights. Each cardio machine is equipped with programmable touch screen televisions. What's more, the gym houses two studios — one for aerobic fitness or dance classes and the other, exclusively for spinning, with 21 Lemond spinning bikes. So move over private gyms, membership at the SMU Gym has its privileges!

SMU Swimming Pool
SMU's pool is located on Level 6, Administration Building. There is also a sauna room in the pool area. Lockers and shower rooms are available there.

Closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays

Li Ka Shing Library Membership (annual fee of $150)
A Li Ka Shing Library Membership gives you the following privileges including:

• Borrowing of up to 6 books/materials from the Lending Collection.
• Course Reserve materials are available upon request at the Library's Help Desk. Course Reserve materials are only available for a 2-hour maximum on-site loan.
• Photocopy machines are also available for your use.
• Databases can be accessed both on-site and off-site. The list of databases can be viewed here.

Preferred Parking Rates at SMU Car Parks (annual fee of $60)
Enjoy preferred parking fees at the SMU Carpark at the Administration Building. Note that Preferred parking rates are separate charges in addition to the annual fee of $60.
