A Gift from the Graduating Class of 2008
The Senior Class Gift is a tradition initiated by the pioneer graduating classes of SMU. It is an annual programme in which the seniors make a gift to the university upon graduation. Most seniors enjoy participating in this great opportunity that allows them to give something back to SMU where they have created so many special memories during their time on campus.

Graduating Class Scholarship
This year’s Senior Class Gift will go towards creating a scholarship for deserving SMU students. This is an opportunity for your graduating class to leave a legacy for future students. Known as the Graduating Class of 2008 Scholarship, it will be awarded to a student in 2009.

As a soon-to-be alum, we now turn to you and encourage you to support the Graduating Class of 2008 Scholarship by making a gift to commemorate your senior year. Your gift will ensure that future students can benefit from a quality education.

How much should I give?
You might think that you can’t make a gift now because you are still a student and are unsure of what you will be doing after graduation. However, a gift of any size helps! What is more important is your participation. No matter what size your gift, you will have made a significant impact in making a difference for future cohorts. We encourage as many seniors as possible to give to the cause.

Recognition
If you make a gift of $10 or more to the Senior Class Gift, you will receive a complete set of alumni gift – a key ring with a complete mortar board charm.

How do I participate?
You can participate in the Senior Class Gift through any of the following ways:

1. Make a one-time contribution
   You can make a cash or cheque donation by filling up the forms attached.

2. Pledge your gown deposit
