can create an everlasting gift for future SMU students! About Senior Class Gift (SCG)
The Senior Class Gift is a way for the members of the Graduating Class to give back to their alma mater. This meaningful tradition of giving back is started by the pioneer batches of alumni to encourage every graduating student to support programs that are close to your hearts. You too, can do your part in continuing this legacy. The significance of the Senior Class Gift is to involve each and every senior to contribute, so as to achieve full class participation, regardless of the amount contributed. Be the catalyst of this giving back culture. Who is benefiting from my gift?
This year, the Graduating Class Committee hopes to raise at least $20,000 to support the Alumni Scholarship Fund (ASF). This is the outstanding amount needed to achieve the minimum fund of $200,000 to start an endowment for a deserving SMU student every year in perpetuity starting with the upcoming academic year. Priority will be given to students with financial need.
As an SCG donor, you will receive a complete set of Alumni Gift - the key ring with an additional ‘mortar board' charm, given in recognition of your participation and contribution.
How much should I give?
You are encouraged to participate regardless of the amount. Give from your heart. Your participation and support are important to future SMU students.
You can opt for a one-time donation or pledge monthly contributions for a specific period. Complete your graduation by contributing to your Senior Class Gift now!

How can I get involved?
You are welcome to join the 2007 Graduating Class Committee, and be part of the team to drive the Graduates' Night and Senior Class Gift Campaign. Committee members meet regularly to plan and coordinate these Graduating Class activities. If you wish to make a difference and be part of this worthy cause or simply have enquiries about the Graduates' Night and Senior Class Gift initiatives, please email the committee at gradnite@smu.edu.sg and classgift@smu.edu.sg respectively.
