Alumni interest groups perform critical roles in the SMU Alumni Association (SMUAA). Active alumni constituent groups allow the association to reach out and better serve its alumni base. These interest groups help the SMUAA in:

• Providing SMU alumni with opportunities to maintain contact and get together;
• Acting as catalysts for a number of activities, such as providing scholarships to SMU students, career networking, and promoting Singapore Management University as well as its alumni association and providing opportunities for alumni involvement in student mentorship and volunteer service.
