Schools

SMU is composed of six distinguished schools, each offering an undergraduate programme that transforms you to your fullest potential.

Headed by a highly-esteemed Dean, each school has its own distinctive quality and attributes that make them different. Visit the schools' websites to find out more.

SMU is one of the youngest universities in the world to be conferred the prestigious AACSB and EQUIS accreditations for its Lee Kong Chian School of Business (AACSB and EQUIS) and the School of Accountancy (AACSB). Both accreditations are testimony of the fine quality of our programmes and faculty, as well as the strong value proposition that we offer to current and prospective students. School of Information Systems

It’s about doubling the edge.

The Bachelor of Science (Information Systems Management) programme has a distinctive learning model and environment for preparing students to integrate both information technology (IT) and business. Students get intensive training in design-based thinking and problem-solving, creating and leveraging IT business solutions to drive business innovation and transformation and in managing complex projects. Graduates with training in both IT and business have a special advantage because they have a wider range of career opportunities. They have been employed in full-time jobs and internships across every segment of industry, and in a wide variety of job roles spanning IT, business and the business-IT interface. Outstanding students can apply for the prestigious National Infocomm Scholarships offered by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). These scholarships include the SMU-Carnegie Mellon University Bachelors-Masters Fast Track programme.
