No scholarship on business information technology is more prestigious than the National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS) offered by the Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). This dual degree programme allows scholars to graduate with a Bachelor of Science (Information Systems Management) degree from SMU and an IT Master's degree from the world-renowned Carnegie Mellon University, USA - all within 4 1/2 years. Key features include internships at leading infocomm organisations where scholars are exposed to cross-cultural business practices through a 6-month overseas assignment - experience that will give them a career headstart upon graduation.
