Enrollment into SMU as Full-Time Undergraduate After Bridging Programme
The Bridging Programme is a means to be enrolled into SMU’s full-time undergraduate programme. Bridging Programme students have to meet the following criteria after the programme in order to be considered for entrance into SMU:
1. A good class attendance of no less than 80%, and good and participative conduct (as determined by SMU) during the Bridging Programme
2. Attainment of a minimum required SAT score by June of every year (the minimum score range required will vary each year, depending on the competitive standards of the students enrolled)
3. A satisfactory admissions interview (as determined by SMU) in English with SMU’s faculty at the closure of the Bridging Programme
4. Students satisfying the necessary immigration and medical requirements
5. Notwithstanding the above, SMU will still have to be satisfied that overall, based on SMU’s holistic admission criteria, students are suitable candidates to be offered final and confirmed admission. In this respect, SMU’s decision will be final.
