Faculty members can use eLearn, our enterprise learning management system, to enhance their course delivery.
Online content and learning: Online courses that are designed on this platform consist of both digital course materials and learning activities. Digital content that can be integrated into the system includes interactive multimedia courseware and videos. Online activities that extend student learning are facilitated by features such as discussion forums, blogs and journals.
Communication and assessment: To move their students forward in their learning, the faculty members have at their disposal a host of communication and assessment tools. They can make use of the announcement, email and calendar tools to give feedback and send reminders. They can use grading rubrics to communicate their expectations, online quizzes and the peer evaluation tool to assess student performance.
Training: All faculty members are provided with introductory training to get them on board the course management system. For advanced users, there will be topical training within the semester on how to use other features.
